Studio CEF is a Montreal-based creative studio specializing in the development of socio-ecological narrative universes intended to become transmedia franchises (novels, comics, narrative video games, conferences, and educational projects). Our mission is to tell compelling stories that explore the connections between humans, biodiversity, ecological transition, and climate change.
The studio is currently in a growth phase. It operates with a network of independent collaborators who contribute to project development on a freelance basis.
While no positions are currently open, we welcome spontaneous applications from professionals interested in contributing to our narrative universes.
We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in:
- Narrative design (story architecture, character arcs, narrative bibles)
- Development and negotiation of licenses (adaptations, rights, IP partnerships)
- Writing grant applications and securing cultural funding
Other relevant expertise includes illustration, screenwriting, editing, or coordinating creative projects.
