The Exxila Saga
Exxila is freezing. Each year, the cold tightens its grip, while those in power insist the warmth will return. But what if they are wrong? When hope turns into denial, Max and his friends defy the order of their world and set out across the galaxy in search of a way to save their planet—before Exxila becomes a silent, lifeless world.

In this young adult science fiction novel, a space opera, a young alien living on a distant planet grappling with severe climate change discovers that he is originally from Earth. In fact, all the aliens on the planet Exxila are distant descendants of Earthlings, created from genetically modified embryos, survivors of the wreckage of a gigantic spaceship that crashed at the bottom of a lake. But no one is willing to admit this truth about their origin, or even to acknowledge the planet’s widespread cooling, which threatens the survival of the Exxilians.
Like all the young people of Exxila, Max is invited to participate in a training course, a kind of imposed initiation ritual. He doesn’t see the need for it but is forced to attend. He finds himself in the capital with his friend Aya, where he realizes that the teachings they are given do not quite correspond to reality and may even serve to mask it… Curious and bold, Max decides to unravel the mysteries of Exxila.
